Aww, I know what you mean… it’s not you, people are just really busy, and if you don’t see a friend in day-to-day activities, then it’s hard to find time to catch up.
Nook is a different story, it’s just really clunky and don’t work too good - I’d guess that close to 25% of posts and replies are probably lost nowadays, or they take a week to go up on the site. Although it’s probably hard for admin to sift out all the spam.
If you’re feeling lonely, you (and your man, of course, and in fact any Nooksters) are always invited to Poetry Idol on the first Tuesday of every month (next one is Tuesday, the 3rd of June) at 6:30pm at the St Kilda Library (a 5 min walk from Balaclava station). Entry is free! I’ll be there, but not performing this time. It’s a great night out with awesome poetry and free wine. FREE WINE!!
It would be nice to meet you, all the people from Nook I’ve met in real life have been friendly and interesting.
If they don’t like what u write they don’t post it, so people don’t bother any more. At least youv’e got a man, I wrote the book on lonely, c u.
Hey little miss, and lady chaos, your former mayor here.
Back on to blatantly plug my little photographic exhibiton at the rapture cafe in ferntree gully - opposite the cemetery.
hope you both are well, and yes, hope the nook gets better. before it’s midlife crisis, is was great fun

Rip, you’re invited to Poetry Idol too… there’s free wine and lots of single eccentric poets and intelligent people concerned with the state of the world like yourself. You might be able to cure that loneliness! …Or at least come along and say hello to me.
If you’re nervous, I’ll introduce you to people. It’s a really fun night out, and not too late if you have work the next day.
it’s true that not many posts are posted and replied to. but if u go onto your site under manage and then monthly views you will be surprised at how many people are actually viewing message like this one. i have learnt how to use Nook and i find it convenient and easy to use.
nooksters are observing this forum site a lot. so just keep on keeping on and it will flourish for us all.
Our Mayor!! You’re back! And with a photographic exhibition!
Well done.
You should do a post on your nook with all the details of the exhibition… I have exams at the moment but as soon as they’re over I’ll mosey over to FTG and have a look. Your work will still be there after the 12th of June, right?
